Overview
PureRef supports localization through language files. Find out how to change the language and how to contribute to translating PureRef.
Available languages in PureRef
• Chinese (Simplified)
• Chinese (Traditional)
• French
• Japanese
• Korean
• Spanish
The default language in PureRef is English.
How do I change the language in PureRef?
- Open Settings.
- Go to the Appearance tab
- Choose your preferred language in the Language dropdown menu.
- Done! PureRef will switch language immediately.

Mistakes happen, or maybe there's an even better way to phrase something? Help us find areas of improvement by proofreading already translated text. If you find something off, contact us and describe the translation issue and where to find it and we'll look into it.

Are you a native speaker? Make PureRef available in your language. Get started right away:
Getting started translating
- Sign up and join PureRef's Crowdin.com project
- Find your language and download the latest language file from our Crowdin.com project page.
- Download the translation tools
- Create a folder named 'lang' inside the PureRef install directory. (Same folder where 'PureRef.exe' is located, for example C:/Program Files/PureRef on Windows)
- Unzip the downloaded zip file and move all the files from it into the 'lang' folder, including your language file .ts file.
- Start PureRef and go to Settings -> Appearance, there will be a new "Language" drop-down available where you can select your new language.

FAQ
I can't find my language. What do I do?
It's possible it's not officially supported. We prioritize languages based on user amount. You can send us a request and we will take it into consideration for future versions of PureRef!
