Yes it is as you say, reloading the scene will reload the linked files as well. Currently it is not possible to reload just a subset of the images but it might be something we can look into adding! Maybe even automatically notifying the user when a file has changed would be nice as well.by PureRef - Help
Did this work before? If so; when did it change? With a new Photoshop or PureRef? All PureRef does is reading the image data from the clipboard so if this doesn't work Photoshop is probably giving the clipboard some specific image format.by PureRef - Suggestions
This sounds like a bug, we have seen some issues with maximize on surfaces when rotating the screen from landscape to portrait but this sounds like something else. Something you can try to do is to delete the settings file located under C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/PureRef.ini Take a backup of it and, if it helps to remove it, maybe you can upload it for us so we can take a looby PureRef - Bug reports
Thanks for sharing your findings :) We have thought about adding some built in assets such as arrows and circles that you could add to the scene, maybe a ruler of some sort would have been nice as well?by PureRef - General
Have you tried holding Alt + Shift and left click dragging in the direction you want to flip the selected image? The image interaction bindings under Controls work together with the left mouse button.by PureRef - Help
Have you tried right click dragging? If you have and it doesn't work, what OS are you using?by PureRef - Suggestions
This is a feature that we have planned to look into for future versions and one that would definitely be handy. We will let you know when we know more! Thanks for the suggestion!by PureRef - Suggestions
Alright, thank you. We will look into it!by PureRef - Bug reports
Thank you for reporting your findings, those files are not something we know of so maybe it is part of some OS X feature. What version of OS X are you running?by PureRef - Bug reports
Folders and files starting with a . are hidden by default in the Finder, it should be there if you use the terminal to look for it: To view the files in .config type: ls /Users/<username>/.config/ And then to delete the PureRef.ini: rm /Users/<username>/.config/PureRef.ini If you still cant find it you can try to use the terminal to look for it: sudo /usr/libexec/locate.updby PureRef - Bug reports
On mac it should be located under /Users/<username>/.config/PureRef.iniby PureRef - Bug reports
The maximized state of PureRef is saved between restarts, but you have probably tried Ctrl+F to disable it already. The option for locked window shouldn't ever be grayed out so it sounds a bit strange. The settings file for PureRef is located under C:/Users/<user>/AppData/Roaming/PureRef.ini on windows, just remove that to reset all settings.by PureRef - Bug reports
PureRef isn't using any such file normally so it sounds a bit strange. Could you elaborate a bit more when this issue happens? Is it when you try to start PureRef?by PureRef - Bug reports
Thank you for supporting us! If you find yourself needing to redownload PureRef you can download it for free by putting 0 in the name your price box. As we have a pay what you want system the free version is the same as the one you get if you support us.by PureRef - Help
We have had this issue on previous OS X versions so it might be something that has changed in the latest again, we will look into it!by PureRef - Bug reports
We're a bit reluctant to add image manipulation functionality. In this case this functionality also raises some other questions like for example how to handle background color, should it always be just black or does it need to be setable?by PureRef - Suggestions
There are multiple ways to do this in PureRef already! Check out the color settings in the settings window. Either you can use the Glass preset(Alt + 3) or the master opacity slider(Ctrl + +/-) or just customize every color one by one. You can also enable mouse transparency to be able to paint through PureRef while it is transparent(Ctrl + T). Please check out the about page for an easy overvieby PureRef - Suggestions
Glad to hear you got it sorted! Yes it does indeed sound strange, maybe something with the default key binds. If it happens again let us know and we will look into it a bit more.by PureRef - Help
We haven't heard about this issue before, what you can start by doing is to make sure that your key bindings for delete is not unset or, if it isn't, try to set it to some other key and see if that works. If it still doesn't work let us know and we will try to help you further!by PureRef - Help
Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. We have tracked down a problem with save files when, in some cases, saving to a full disk or a network drive and something goes wrong the save file might get corrupted. Do you think this can be the case for you as well? This has been fixed in the upcoming version of PureRef but until then please be careful when saving and be sure there is enough diskby PureRef - Help
Thank you for the suggestions! Almost all of your points are already on the roadmap for future versions but it is great to hear your opinions. One way to solve the lines could be to just be able to add pre-defined shapes like arrows, circles and lines as images but it would indeed be cool to actually connect groups with dynamic lines. Other than italic and bold and other font formatting optby PureRef - Suggestions
Have you made sure PureRef is not locked? In the right click menu under Window -> Lock Window or Ctrl+W.by PureRef - Bug reports
Thanks for the suggestion! We're not sure how this would be implemented in a good way without bloating up the functionality of PureRef but we will consider it while adding new features for an upcoming version. It should be fairly easy to implement but we need to consider if it follows the design paradigm of PureRef.by PureRef - Suggestions
Thanks for the report, we will look into it and see if we can find the cause for this.by PureRef - Bug reports
Do you mean that you want it to be always on top? In that case make sure always on top is checked in the right click menu under Mode -> Always On Top or toggle it with ctrl+shift+a.by PureRef - Help
That could indeed be useful and would enable support for multiple PureRef instances at the same time with different settings. We will look into it!by PureRef - Suggestions
Yes, this would probably be quite easy to add. We will look into it for future versions. Thanks for the suggestion!by PureRef - Suggestions
Do you mean that this function would be applied to the entire scene or per image as the other suggestion requested? This is an area which we are looking into, trying to find good ways to do this without adding to much performance requirements. Thanks for the suggestion!by PureRef - Suggestions
PureRef already has a color picker which you can activate by holding S and left click dragging over the pixels you want to pick from. It sounds like it fulfills all your requests but give it a try and let us know if you have any additional suggestions for it! The About page and the keybinder in PureRef are good references to find already existing functionality so check them out if there is anytby PureRef - Suggestions
