In the next version of PureRef you will be able to mass import images from web pages by selecting everything on the page and drag drop the selection into PureRef, maybe this will be helpful for this case? As for specific Pinterest support it is something still on our todo list. Thanks for letting us know it would be helpful for you!by PureRef - Suggestions
The file that is working must have been uploaded fine. The files that are not working seems to be windows shortcuts according to google drive, so either you have uploaded shortcuts to those files instead of the actual file or google drive has failed to upload them properly. The .download extension is usually added to files that are not yet fully downloaded by your browser. So this sounds like aby PureRef - Help
Can it be, as it says, that you have only uploaded a shortcut to the other .pur? Otherwise, if google drive says that the non working files are only 972 bytes, it sounds like something went wrong with the upload. The error PureRef gives means that the file you're trying to load doesn't even contain a PureRef header. Hope this helps.by PureRef - Help
That would indeed be handy, we'll add it to the list of future possible improvements to PureRef, thanks!by PureRef - Suggestions
Yes, we have considered adding such a feature and it is something that might come in future versions of PureRef but it is great to hear your opinions about it and see some examples. We will also look into adding an easier way to finish editing a note! Thank you for the great suggestions!by PureRef - Suggestions
This is a bug and will be fixed in the next version of PureRef! The order of the images should always be saved. Thanks for letting us know.by PureRef - Help

When adding a note, both by Ctrl+N and by pasting, the note will be parented to the current selection. So if you want to copy paste an unparented note you can do that by just deselecting the note you just copied before pasting. There is a known issue with the kerning when rotating notes which is something we would like to improve in the future, is that what you mean or do you have a different iby PureRef - Bug reports
Glad to hear you got it sorted!by PureRef - Help
What does "wrong" mean? If PureRef was closed while saving it should have stored a backup alongside the original save file with the extension .old, just removing that extension should make that file loadable again. If you have no such file you could try to force load the save file by using the -b command line option: PureRef.exe -b save.pur This will attempt to load any image iby PureRef - Help
Gifs are something we're looking into, and in the future maybe videos could be a possible feature as well. PureRef should add images in the same order as they are on disc and you can use the arrow keys to step between them by addition order. Is this what you mean or would you want it to work some other way? You can also order images by addition or name using the right click menu Images->by PureRef - Suggestions
This should be easy to add, we'll look into it! Thank you for the suggestion.by PureRef - Suggestions
This could be useful indeed and is something we would like to look into. There is however one more issue to consider: How would you handle embeded images? Should they just be a data blob in between the ascii? This would be needed for pasted images and, at the moment, images from a remote source. Other than that PureRef is already storing the links in a format where you know the relative path.by PureRef - Suggestions
Thank you for letting us know you need it, the more requests we get the more we will try to prioritise it. We don't have anything new to report in that area though and unfortunately we don't know of any alternatives that can do this.by PureRef - Help

The note will always be parented to the current selection, so if you want to unlink it then just copy the note and then deselect everything and paste. The note should then be completely free.by PureRef - Help
What version of OSX are you using? And does it go away if you press D? Also take a look in your settings under keybindings and see what "Show Image Coordinate" under Controls is set to. You can also try to reset the keybindings to default.by PureRef - Help
There has been some progress but no estimate on when it will be done unfortunately. Thanks for letting us know that it would be helpful for you!by PureRef - Help
