One reason why you might be unable to add images is if you have locked the canvas with the Lock Canvas (Ctrl+R) feature, could this be the case?

There is a setting to do this that was introduced in the latest version, 1.9.2, called "Auto load last scene on start up". Is that what you're looking for?

Thanks for all the links! We're using the same method as most of those but with slightly different weights: (R * 11 + G * 16 + B * 5)/32 This is our first iteration on the grayscale feature, we'll look into tweaking it for future versions of PureRef.

There should have been a warning prompt about this case when binding the left mouse button, unfortunately it seems that warning doesn't work as it should. We'll look into fixing that asap! You can solve this issue in 2 ways without completely reinstalling: 1. You can navigate the buttons in the settings interface using tab and shift+tab. In this way you should be able to switch back

There is now a setting available for this called "Move window threshold" in the latest version 1.9.2. We also added another setting for the width of the resize border to make resizing easier on tablets and high res screens.

"Select and pack new images" means is that it will select and pack only the newly added images. So if you only add one image it won't have anything to pack, but if you add multiple it will lay them out so they don't all end up in the same place.

There is an option called "Select and pack new images" which should do this if it is enabled, have you tried that? :)

Unfortunately we don't have a setting for that, but we could definitely add one. We'll look into it for the next version of PureRef.
