Perhaps a alternate version of this could be that when relinking images, the user selects a folder and the app will search all folders and sub folders (recursively). Depending on the hierarchyz this could take time. But will be much faster vs relinking one by one. Many apps use this same principle like Photoshop and Blender. Blender actually has an option to search recursive. Hope this can give de
I had contact with pureref team and they helped me out getting 1.9.2 to work again on OSX 10.11.6
In the folder /users/USERNAME/.config/ there is a file called PureRef.ini, in this file under you need to add this line; CheckForUpdates=false
With this extra line, the version 1.9.2 no longer crashes on startup and i can use it
In the shortcuts check what the opacity hptkey is set to. I noticed to turn opacity up, it has only command key, which does nothing. Change it to sat command + =

I tried the 1.9.2 version again but it keeps crahing when the main app window appears on osx 10.11.6
I also tried to edit your download link, but it
Not sure what happened, but i believe i had 1.9.2 working on my 10.11.6 machine. But currently keeps crashing for some reason. :(
The 1.8.0 does work for me.
I do have a crash report for the devs, but since its no longer supported daubt that matters
Wonder what has been added and why it needs newest OS. Did the app change that much or is it because of the porting software used to get it to other OS's?
PureRef 1.10.3
OSX 10.14
I just started using the new version after an OS update. Great to see my old settings ported over :) I notice than when I use these the changing takes "quite" a while, its between 1-3 seconds or so. Is this normal behavior? I cant recall how long it took on the old version, I did swap to custom to much :)
I just notice laptop has same, I guess because movement with a pen tablet is more sensitive it starts dragging immediately. Perhaps it should be turned of when a tablet is used?

I had to upon grade my OS to be able to use the new app. I was always postponing and finally gave up on it.
I noticed that when the app starts in Fullscreen mode and I use right MB with a tablet it exits fullscreen mode. I tried looking in the hotkeys, which is a bit finicky to search because it doesn't search for hotkeys itself. The only keycombo I can find is
Was very happy to see new updates to this magnificent app today. Im still in the process of updating my OS on mac now so cant test the new version. I went ahead and made a backup of the pureref.ini file.
Wouldnt it be handy nice if we could export settings? I mean I also use this app at work now and then and being able to sync pref file is handy.
Im not sure ofcourse how the new app will han
WHat kind of monitor do you use, because monitors (modern) hardly show this effect. It is more something which happens to cry and plasma screens. LCD hardly have this issue
I checked some fact on QT-framework and I'm wondering now what version of QT is used. On their site I see that latest build (5.9) still supports 10.11.6
https://doc-snapshots.qt.io/qt5-5.9/supported-platforms-and-configurations.html
I just read the FAQ, https://www.pureref.com/support.php on why 10.11.12 is needed now, perhaps I'm getting it wrong. But the reason is not very clear. Is this because the frame-work now has better support? Updating to 10.11.12 because its free sounds just weird
I noticed the app has gotten some quite a lot of updates since January which is very nice. My question is why is the minimal requirements now 10.11.12 actually? I mean the app is still running from a QT-Framework I think. Has there been so many changes to the core that one now needs at least 10.11.12?
I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, just would like to know the technical as
Could this app be open-source perhaps? Its really nice you guys "seem" active with responding, but nothing is really done in development. At least ii got the feeling about this. Last release was 2 years ago or more.
The app is really nice, but i could use a couple of upgrades, ive seen many really great suggestions, but nothing is done or shown in terms of development.
Would be gre

Cool thanks for the link. Perhaps you should make a new thread for this. I think this is very handy for OSX users.
PS if you need a high res app icon. I made this new one from this thread ICNS ready

You are free to pay as you wish. Read the small letters ;)
If they also can be exported as groups i guess its basically the same idea.
Also would be nice if you can than cycle through the groups like we currently can do with images.
Here you see current method, everything is one single canvas or artboard. i would love to be able to divide them

Well currently resizing canvas works weird. One needs to move objects around and than the canvas auto adjusts its size. W can narrow the canvas with a command, thats is handy. But there is no input for resizing it.
I think a lot people use this app for presentations. So if we can have preset canvas size and custom input for dimensions this would help and take extra work needed to crop in an ex
On mac and i think perhaps also on windows, there is no HDPI support. This means it looks a bit pixelated. Also on OSX when we check app info, "Use low res mode" is greyed out. Sometimes you can fix this by adding
<string>NSApplication</string>
<key>NSHighResolutionCapable</key>
<true/>
<key>NSSupportsAutomaticGraphicsSwitching</key>

I would also love to see a command line function. I see we can run simple things like second instance. But if we could run a command line tool with it, that would mean we can make plugins and addons for 3rd party apps. We could automate creation of these boards.
That would be so cool!!!
I would like to make request for Canvas Preset & Custom Dimensions.
Preset would allow us to set / use preset canvas ratio and dimensions which would make great use for making presentations for different kind of output. Also the ability to set custom dimension would also be welcomed.
Applications like photoshop, illustrator, indesign and many more have these kind of preset like print, we
Sorry i just read something about the glass preset :)
Lol, perhaps better naming convention than :) Why name it glass preset while, i would add something like canvas opacity or image opacity. Easier to find in the help and also to understand
