I got the error where it couldn't save again, I tried loading up procmon but sadly i could not repeat the error.
I tried doing it in a separate instance of the program, and didn't see a notification. Maybe it's related?
I'll try your log suggestion from the other thread
If i had to guess it seems like the temp file isn't overwriting the base file and instead "replacing" it. Oddly deleting the file and taking it's place. I'll try your suggestion to give more info.
Yes we just tried it and, at first i thought the problem was fixed but then it seemed to do the same behavior.
Even the dropbox upload treated it as an entirely new file rather than an overwrite so the upload was much slower.
On my peers PC the file would vanish until the upload was completed.
For a large board with 1-2gb of images that could be a problem.
When we used the board in ve
I use pureref to collab with people and sometimes we work from the same moodboard.
As such we both update the same file through dropbox or something.
The problem is they cannot tell when the file has been updated so unless they reload the file they see no changes.
I would appreciate if the program detected when the file was changed, notified the user and gave the option to refresh.
I'll see if I have time to look into the things suggested.
One thing I can say for sure is I can also see the behavior in windows cause the "Date Created" and "Date Modified" are very close to each other. This does not appear to be the case with old pureref files. The new version files are seconds apart, and the old files are months apart.
Touch is super good in pure ref, but using a track pad doesn't seem right, it only works with zoom when it could scroll in all directions like touch does. At least in the beta it doesn't.

I had an issue where my file couldn't save for some reason, so i saved a new one, then when i checked dropbox later, it seems like the files are deleted and readded to save?
Previous version didn't seem to do this, and this kind of thing would cause a lot of problems for me.
I guess I would expect it to work like double clicking in the full screen view does.
Click a button and it hides everything but that image or selection of images, or group of images now.
I use pureref on a surface tablet sometimes so I only have one screen, overlay mode lets me keep references on screen instead of switching apps.
But if I have like 50 images in a board it's imposs
I LOVE overlay mode, it's made working on my surface laptop with references nearly perfect. But I feel a feature is missing to properly utilize the feature.
At the moment, overlay seems to make the image canvas the whole screen, which is fine, but if you have a ton of images it's a problem.
My current solution is just stacking them and shifting through them, but i think the more i
