I'd like to request a simple feature: copy the file path or URL of selected images to the clipboard, one per line.
Before posting I checked whether this was already achievable via the clipboard. Using Nirsoft's InsideClipboard I confirmed that PureRef only writes its own pureref/binary format on copy — no CF_HDROP or text path format is present, so there is currently no way to extract
Aah I see, understood. The Pureref-team keeps out doing itself, so am very confident you guys will strike an optimal solution. Looking forward to it. Cheers guys!
For some time now I just could not figure out what was off with Pureref's drawing tools, causing me to constnatly resize my scene (via select all) to match the drawing scale.
Well I finally put my finger on it, its the same issue as the OP.
This makes drawing in Pureref so counter inutitive, since 99% of drawing programes out there use an absolute pen width.
I've used every dr
Hi, first off thank you for this tool - the CLI support is excellent and has allowed me to integrate PureRef seamlessly into my PowerShell automation workflow.
ISSUE
The load command uses "," as a file path separator, which conflicts with valid Windows filenames that contain commas.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Create a file with a comma in the name: dog three,.jpg
2. Attempt to load v
Beat me to it lol, I had been planning to suggest for some time but have been busy to.
At some point as you add more and more into a Pureref scene, an overview (or a birds eye) view becomes critical. This overview utility is common in programmes with node editors such as Houdini, Toon boom, Harmony, Nuke and so on.
They all tend to work very similarly, the widget contains the full scene vie
The new drawing features such as line, ellipse and square are great but its really being held back just three stroke width options. Due to Pureref having infinite canvas size and infinite image scaling, it becomes difficult to made do with three stroke widths.
I would be nice if Pureref had a number field, where you could input a value between 1 and say 70, and thus have two commands to increas

Agreed, a command to toggle "isolate mode" would be amazing to have. since Pureref lets you overlap or stack images on top of one another, it would be great to be able to select one or more images and isolate and unisolate them, this way nothing is obscuring them.
I use this feature all the time in Maya, ClipPaint, etc etc.

I just tried the new beta, really pleased with how this got implemen
It would be really amazing to be able to import or even drag and drop a existing ".pur" document into a scene. So that the active scene will just treat it as just another image, file by simply displaying its contents in place.
The benefits of this would be quite huge. You could reference a ".pur" file into your scene, make copies of it all over your scene, in various sizes,
Yes, I mean to add a completely separate command that would complement the existing 'continuous select' command, so that they can be used in tandem; to select or deselect items from a active selection.
Many 3D/VFX software's do this well. The following example is from maya. The first rectangle selection is used to select items (in Maya this is shift + left click drag), the second
Lately I have been finding myself making a selection and then single clicking individual items in that selection to deselect undesired items, this can be tedious.
Currently in PureRef, it is possible to quickly select number of items by holding a modifier key down and click dragging a rectangle. This is a really good feature but its missing its opposite, which is often found in other software&
Do you mean moving and resizing the PureRef window?
If so I can confirm its working for me, pureref 2.0/win11.
Make sure the settings "Resize border width" and "Move window threshold" (found in "Window" section) are not set to a very low pixel value, this could essentially disable resizing/moving the window
Also check if "Move Window" and "Resize
Yes, this is something I have come across myself and have not found a solution either. A "reload selected images" or "reload all images" command would be nice to have.

If I can voice an opinion... I think mp4 support would be ideal. The recent animation support is great but gif files are notoriously terrible to work with, but since PureRef is limited to the gif format for animation, you are forced to work with it.
Currently if I have a long video/animation and need a snippet of it in PureRef, I have to get into a long drawn out process in Image Magick, making

I work with NTFS ADS a lot for various reasons, such as attaching metadata to files/folder for better archiving, tracking, searching, organisation etc
I recently realised that PureRef is deleting all streams saved to the file upon saving said file. Could you please consider retaining the
I see, I can empathise with the task of comming with what keys to assign to what command and this only gets harder too, I would highly suggest to just leave some commands unbound to hotkeys by default, its certainly a better alternative than the user not having the option to do so.
its also a common practice in other softwares. For example, DCC packages dont even bind most of their commands. Vs

Yes it would be helpfull for sure, I have evaluated the command line interface a few times, and it seemed
I am not sure if this is a bug per se, I know text formating commands for multiple text objects was just recently added, so this could just be an oversight.
Just to be clear the issue is when editing a text box, the commands such as "bold" or "background colour" dialog can be invoked with a hotkey but when not in text editing mode but the text formatting toolbar shown, the c
I am looking to integrate PureRef into Obsidian notes (and Notion for my brother).
For example, Obsidian has a board feature, called Canvas (https://obsidian.md/canvas), its very similar to PureRef as an idea, but its executed badly, its very slow due to its browser technology, so its infinite canvas idea just fails and still no drawing features to speak of.
For these reasons I want to inte
This is something I am used to in many applications, and its something I find sorely lacking on PureRef.
It would be nice if the right edge of the Hierarchy panel would allow you to do this.
The following is an example of what I mean:

Cheers.
I had to run out like a mad man from my lunch break and test out beta9 :D
Its sooo smooth, this software never ceases to amaze me, thanks for adding this. I will test it out the coming days for sure.
+1
This would be a nice feature to have for sure. PureRef can sort of do this indirectly by fully lowering the transparency of selected objects but yes a direct means that has an indicator in the hierarchy would be nice!
This is kind of possible already, though you may have to define a command, known as "Task" or "Workflow" on ShareX side:
- On the side bar of the main ShareX window , click on Hotkey Settings...
- On the "ShareX - Hotkey settings" window that opens, define a new task or edit a existing one, by clicking on the gear icon
- On the "ShareX - Task settings" wi
I understand, no worries :)
> Maybe something a bit easier to add would be copy & paste formatting commands?
Yes please, that would be amazing to have. It sounds like such a command could be used to apply formatting to selections in other notes as well. Sounds very usefull, looking forward to it.
