Hey, thanks for the reply. I will check the DPI scaling on my machine at work tomorrow and report back. When I made this post, I had every intention of posting a screenshot that I had taken, and completely spaced. I'll see if I can reproduce the issue tomorrow.
Hi,
As usual, loving and evangelizing for Pureref. However, there is a minor annoyance that I've experienced on occasion. When dragging an image from Chrome (Windows 64), every once and awhile, the dragged image will leave a phantom copy (for lack of a better term) of itself on my screen, which overlays everything else. Neither closing Pureref, nor Chrome makes it go away.
Any ideas as
I don't model without Pureref on my Windows machine. It's invaluable to my pipeline. I've recently started using an iPad Pro for sketching/concept work and I would LOVE an iOS version. I have to find anything that comes even close to Pureref.
Awesome! Yea for auto save! Thanks!
I was thinking that if you have gizmo enabled in your preferences, that when your cursor/stylus hovered over an image for a fraction of a second, a gizmo overlay would appear. You then manipulate it's move, rotate and scale, let go and it disappears a fraction of a second later, but lags enough if you want to grab another part of the gizmo (say if you
Cool! Auto-save has saved my bacon on so many occasions!
I hear where your coming from regarding the gizmo. My idea however is along the lines of, of course, the axis being limited to 2D. I would see it being useful for tablets, as a keyboard is not always in reach. I've recently started using a tablet for roughing concepts (where PureRef is a must!) at work, which is what the possibility
Am absolutely sold on PureRef. It's become an important part of my pipeline. I evangelize at any opportunity.
Here a few thoughts after using PR for about 6 months.
Autosave - I can't personally overstate this enough. Despite the save warning , I've had a few lost sessions. when in the zone, it's not unusual for me to just click through (I know bone-headed) dialogs.
Oh wait! That's actually what I was looking for. I've been using the scroll wheel and hadn't noticed that Z + mouse drag did exactly what I was looking to do. Works perfectly with my stylus!
*Forehead slap!!*
Thanks again!
Hey - Love PureRef. I've been evangelizing since I started using it. Best 5 Euros (10 bucks or so...), I've spent in a long time.
I'm a big Zbrush user and find PR to be my best friend. Being that I use a Wacom tablet, I would find it very handy if there was a means of zooming in and out with the stylus.
Something along the lines of Maya's ALT+SHIFT+stylus button, zoom/dr
