So basically I saved my artboard wrong and now it wont load the pictures. Is ther any way I can get them back? Please let me know. cheers!

What does "wrong" mean? If PureRef was closed while saving it should have stored a backup alongside the original save file with the extension .old, just removing that extension should make that file loadable again.

If you have no such file you could try to force load the save file by using the -b command line option:

PureRef.exe -b save.pur

This will attempt to load any image in the file that is still intact but it will not be able to load any metadata such as image positions or notes.

Alright thank you! With wrong I meant that I probably closed pure ref before it was finished saving. It loads the canvas size, but no images at all. I did what you asked and it worked! thank you so much, this was 3 weeks of reference saved up! Have a good one
