So far pureref has been pretty cool, but twice now when i opened a previously saved ref file all the images are gone. It seems like it remember the canvas/artboard size but no images are visible at all. If i readd them it has an error about not being able to save so i have to save as and re-write the old file.

It's been kind of annoying, i have to rely on the windows automated back up to restore previous versions that work. It's about 50/50, i've been using it for maybe 3 days now and the last two days in a row i've lost a ref file, one who's windows back up didn't have a working one. It's set to save embedded files and it worked the second day I used it so i don't think that's the isssue, but it looks like no one else is having this issue so maybe i'm messing up some where?

Additionally, any chance of letting us switch scroll click with right click? I use right click to pan but it moves the window instead on this program which is.. not fun.
Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues. We have tracked down a problem with save files when, in some cases, saving to a full disk or a network drive and something goes wrong the save file might get corrupted. Do you think this can be the case for you as well? This has been fixed in the upcoming version of PureRef but until then please be careful when saving and be sure there is enough disk space. If you have any save files that you need to get recovered we can try to do it manually if you send us a link to the files.

Currently we don't have any plans to add mouse button rebinding but it is something we would like to do in the future! Until then maybe you can use the "Lock Window" feature so that you don't accidentally move PureRef when you don't want to.
Hm I should have several hundred GB free on the discs but I will look around to see if something else might be interfering with that, kind of like a scratch disk issue? I will look forward to the update as well.

Thank you for the tip on locking the window as something to mitigate that issue for me :)
Mouse button bindings are available in the new PureRef 1.8.0, in the keybinder, under the System tab, you should be able to rebind Move Window to Middle Mouse Button and then under the Controls tab set pan to Right Mouse Button.

This version also includes the fix for the save file. Let us know if it solves your issue.
