There are big bug, or "feature", that does Version 2.1.0.beta1-2 completely not usable for me.
Pervious versions taught me momentarily cut and copy dozens of small picture and use Ctrl+X as analog of fast delete.
But in new beta, copying of more than 1 picture create "copying" window for files that old versions copied momentarily.
New version copy group of 40 small picture more than 20 second, previous versions - 1-2 seconds.
Thank you for the report! We're looking into a fix for this in the next version but until then you can try setting this in the settings file, under [General_Settings]:

CopyAsTempFile=false

If you need to locate the settings file you can find the paths here.

The reason for the change was that we wanted to be able to paste selections of images into programs that only accepts image files, like Windows Explorer and some browser apps. But we'll reconsider the change as it seems to have slowed down other things a lot.
Thanks for clarification.

Just add "Copy as file", "Cut as file" command to menu, and give to users possibility to specify shortcut for this.
Also, please, can you add setting which will create fully portable version by changing location of PureRef.ini from "AppData\Roaming\PureRef" to local PureRef directory?
Having a local settings file is already possible, although it was a bit bugged in 2.0.3, but for 2.1 it should work. If it doesn't let us know and we'll try to get it fixed!
In the latest beta version, 2.1.0.beta3, we've separated the temporary file copying into its own command, so this should no longer be needed as a workaround.
