When I used PureRef in Windows 10, setting "Performance mode: In memory" didn't create cache files in Temporary directory location. At least I remember so.

But after I switched to Windows 11, all "Performance mode" settings begun to create temporary files (full copy of opening files) in Temporary directory location.
Thank you for the report! There's still going to be files in the temporary directory, specifically a copy of the currently opened scene. The cache that is not created by "In memory" is a folder containing the name "_imagecache", do you still see that one even with "Performance mode: In memory"?

No. Then everything is correct. "In memory" create copy of .pur file, and "cache on disk" - additional files in folder. Thanks for answers.
