click on the shortcut in the start menu or desktop to start the app

app starts, gives 'first time setup' screen. clicking 'done' makes that screen disappear and nothing happens. there is no blank area to place images as shown in the documentation. clicking the shortcut just brings up the 'first time setup' screen again. there is no app icon in the system tray. each instance of pureref does show up as a process in the task manager, and I have to 'end task' on them to get them to stop running.

- Expected behaviour. (What did you expect to happen?)

app should open to blank canvas to place photos.
