Currently PureRef supports static WebP and animated GIF, but not animated WebP. Adding support for it would be a great improvement, since animated WebP offers noticeably better image quality than GIF at a much smaller file size. For those of us who use PureRef with moving references (animation loops, reference clips, etc.), this would help keep boards lighter without sacrificing visual quality.

Yea, this would help a lot with huge file sizes
