I use PureRef to give feedback. I colour code the feedback notes to the example drawings. It would be extremely convenient if changing the drawing or text colour, the other would also change to this colour. EG: Select green drawing colour, draw green. Make a new text item: Text colour is already green.

Thank you for the suggestion! The drawing and text editing tools currently save their separate last used color since it is more common to use them separately. Would it help your use case if you could select both the note and the drawing and change both to a selected color instead?

That would be nice as I could just do everything and assign colours when I'm done, but a synced colour option would mean I could have the same result while working, which seems a bit more comfortable/intuitive.


Workflow right now looks like:

Type a note, set its colour.
Add a drawing, usually a simple sketch or arrow pointing to the exact area the note is referring to (It's helpful to colour code the note and sketch).
These two steps can be done in either order; sketch first or note first.
In between each step I have to set the note to the sketches colour, then change colour to start the next sketch, change the text colour to match that sketch, and so on.

With a global/shared colour option that saves changing the colour half the time.

Also unrelated to original topic but Desyching pen size from canvas zoom would be a nice option too.
