It would be great if that when we add an image, the source was added as editable text. Something like how OneNote automatically adds a textbox below the image is how I'm imagining it, but it just being a hidden property of an image would also work. Ideally these would be hyperlinks.

A copy button next to it would be handy too.

I use PureRef a lot as an image gathering tool and I then use the images elsewhere, such as PowerPoint. A current work around is to create textbox and copy & paste the URL into, but this disrupts the work flow quite a lot.

Hi, you can use Notes features inside PureRef for this, Ctrl + N creates a text box where you can type in the link. Hope that helps.

I do think it would be cool if a hidden metadata property could be added to the images to not clutter the canvas with textboxes.
Thank you for the suggestion! We try to store the original location of images (works mostly when you drag & drop) that you can access with the Open source command, or view and copy in the Coordinate picker.
Thanks for the reply, that is cool! But unfortunately not ideal for most people I think. Sometimes I download images from the internet into PC, and then drag them into PureRef. This means Open source command will open my PC location, but what I actually care about is the webpage it was downloaded from. Thank you.
