Hello!

I really love that Pureref keep the online link to the image sources. For sharing, people can trace it back and continue on similar searches etc.
But when we need to edit some images because the contrasts are too high, then we need to put the local copy instead. So we lose the image link to its web source.

When you paint or draw, sometimes having too high contrast on reference images is distractful and not helping when you work on more subtle values.
I know there's some "White background remover" online here and there and it helps, but then you still have too put a local image on the moodboard, so no online link to its source.
Same thing with highly contrasted images.

The non-destructive "crop" is awesome and I wonder if it's possible to have a sort of easy, non-destructive "edit" but for contrasts or white backgrounds.

Thank you!
Thank you for the suggestion(s)! We're a bit reluctant to add too much image editing features as we try to focus on being a great viewer, but we'll note your request. Being able to update the source link would probably be a good feature to have though. As a workaround you can always add links as a comment, although they are not quite as easy to access. In the upcoming version of PureRef the comment dialog will properly support rich text to make it easier to handle links in there.
Thanks for the reply!
I understand that could it be endless going image editing.
I know we can put images in black&white but still the high contrasts are still there.
In the end my general idea is more to have a quieter board than image editing... and "Ctrl shit o" for images link, I love it !!
