I would like to be able to import pages from pdf documents with like 50 pages.

To do that, I export all pages as images from acrobat, and the images are called filename_page_xx.jpg
When I import them into Pureref - they seem to be imported in a quite random order. I also tried to rename them 1.jpg 2.jpg and so on.

Not a huge issue, as I can move pages around manually.

Thank you for the suggestion! You should be able to use the Arrange by name action to sort them somewhat, does that work for you?

ah ok. this works somehow, but the pages are not the same size.

i can fix this by using
- images -> normalize -> height
- and then sort by images -> arrange -> by name
is there a way to have this as default?

what is used as default sort?

There's currently no way to have that setup as default unfortunately, but you can change the default sort order to be by name by changing the setting Pack new by.

Arrange by name works strange, i have a lot of images with names: (1), (2), (3), (4)... etc. And when i do arrange by name it's kinda working, but output is not exactly right. Image with the name of (9) is after the image with the name of (27).
