Would love to be able to select a group of images and just cleanup their arrangement without reshuffling them. For instance, if I arrange images in the order I want them, it would be nice to be able to tell pureref to evenly space them keeping the rows and columns.

Thanks for the suggestion! You can use the Align shortcuts to fixup layouts that is roughly correct, for example first by pressing Ctrl + Up arrow and then Ctrl + Left arrow. Let us know if it helps for your use case!
