scale in percentages (text & images) for accurate scaling.
Yes, at least for text, please.

Thanks for the suggestion! Could you elaborate a bit on what you mean and how you would envision it working? We're aware it is currently hard to create precise designs in PureRef since it hasn't really been the purpose of the app, but we're happy to hear what you think is missing.

Sure.
First, the problem: When you start a new text box, it scales to the current view/zoom of the canvas. So it doesnt matter wich font size you have. I get it, is best to prioritize context dependent size, so it will be nice to have a scale tool to regularize text specially, cause as I say, font size doesn't actually matter.
About the tool: I envision it working with percentages: 100% is the current size of the text/image. So it is independent of the current view/zoom. So with text input you can type the % you want it to scale.

Thank you for elaborating! So basically you would want to be able to edit a property that is the items scale in % relative to the scene and not the view. Just as a side note; you can use the "Normalize scale" action to make the scale of multiple notes the same. You still can't set the exact % but you can at least make sure notes have the same font size that way.

Thanks for the advice. I'm currently doind a workaround using a "template", so I just copy the elements in it's current size.
In my experience is kind of annoying to have text size relative to the view, because it doesn't make sense for fonts to have numbered size and you have to manually adjust text boxes (thats why I'm suggesting a text input, as a way to add more accuracy).
I get that, as the name says, it's for references. So usually we "sacrifice" the order of elements in the canvas. I'm currently using it for much more. Now it is kind of a dashboard for me, were I put projects, links to de archives or webpages, references or inspiration and keeping track of its progress. So it becames annoying to adjust the text everytime that I zoom in or zoom out.
Thank you for replying! And thanks for the app, I really love it and can't stop recommending it!

Thanks for sharing your use case! The font size options in notes are mostly intended for if you wish to have different font sizes within the same note, so you're right that it might make more sense to have a % selector when you're not in editing mode. We'll keep your feedback in mind for future improvements of PureRef!
