It would be nice to have an option to show a grid on an image or divide image into parts to see its proportions.

Thanks for the suggestions! Would you mind elaborating what type of functionality you would like to see? Like what settings you would need for it to be useful for you?

I think there could be an option in the context menu if you right click on an image to 'display grid on image' or something like that and then you can give how many rows and columns you want to divide the image into and it displays a grid on the image. Also it would be good to customize the thickness, color and transparency of the lines (and maybe the style, e.g.: dashed). And an auto-color function would be useful too, like choosing the color automatically depending on the image (maybe white if the image is dark and black if the image is light) or solve it with blending modes like difference. These customizations can be in the settings menu.
