Many client notes come in image sequences or gifs, or even quicktimes. It is extremely helpful to have all of this ref/feedback in one location. Adding support for video files, or at the very least, when dragging a sequence of images, allowing the option for them to be added as a sequence? That way a simple arrow system or hotkeys could switch between them?
Gifs are something we're looking into, and in the future maybe videos could be a possible feature as well.
PureRef should add images in the same order as they are on disc and you can use the arrow keys to step between them by addition order. Is this what you mean or would you want it to work some other way? You can also order images by addition or name using the right click menu Images->Arrange->By Name/Addition.
Thank you for the suggestions!
if i load a stack of sequenced images they all seem to load in separately.. which creates a nightmare to deal with. I'd like them to drop in and present me with the option to load them as a singular image "frame" on the canvas. As-is they seem to all just create their own "image" which is not ideal for multiple frames.
Basically.. i have say.. ten images loaded and spaced around my canvas, but say I want one of those to just be for the client feedback, and I want to be able to cycle through that one floating picture frame to see all of my client feedback while all of the others on the canvas are for reference.
1+ for Gif and video support !
Hi!
I love PureRef. It is basically the program I have been waiting for in regards to reference material.
I came here to register an account and suggest animated GIF support.
I was pleased to find others who also want it! +1 from me also.
Thanks a lot!
I will gladly donate as soon as I am able to.
+1 from me on this as well!
