Sometimes I use PureRef with images that I need to crop to just a small selection (example: I have a large pureref file full of hands in different positions, almost all of them cropped from larger pictures)

This works, the problem is that when saving an embedded file it saves the entire image not just the cropped portion and this results in huge PureRef files filled mostly by wasted space when saving embedded images.

It would be really nice if you could add an option to destructively crop the images before embedding them.

This should be easy to add, we'll look into it!
