Hello ! i am vvery sorry if it's a already implemented feature or "hidden" one, but i think it would be really cool if we could when making a group name it , and have like a little thingy on top of the group where the name would be shown, it would be faster than making a separate note and naming the little thing you've made ! thank you so much for the grouping capability it is the absolute best and a life saver for concept art students like me !!!!!!!

Like for example, there could be 2 groupping , quick one (with the current ctrl+g hotkey) and a more complete one where it would automatically put the cursor in the name field, and pressing enter would make the groupe with the name on the top left ! it could for example be ctrl+shift+g !

I completely agree. Headers - the most convenient way to name and move groups.
It will also simplify the implementation of near “Suggestion - Pure Ref 2 Beta - Easy way to name groups” by possibility to hide unneeded groups via header button.

Also, it would be great if any files dropped into a group would automatically save to a subfolder near .pur, with the same name as the group name. And will show as basic icons with file names.

Potential implementation of such headers:
1. After creation of a group, in the left upper corner of the group, automatically crated, tied to the group, undeletable note for up to 260 characters.
2. Change of note color also change color of the group.
3. Selection of the header note show the same menu as selection of standard note, but with addition of new group buttons. For example, to delete group, or to show group folder in Windows explorer.

This would be a nice addition. In addition to locking groups; locking text.

Thank you for the suggestions! We'll be looking at adding more features to the groups in the future so we'll take all of the feedback into account. For now you can lock the title note with Alt+L if you want to make a kind of makeshift header, and then it can be edited from the hierarchy if you need to change the text.
