I'm happy to see straight lines added.
However, drawing a straight line from point A to point B is very difficult.
Currently, it's possible to create a horizontal line and use the gizmo to adjust the angle, but there is too little range to move it.
So it would be nice to have a method like the link below.

Currently, Draw is too smooth for writing.
Do you have any plans to add a Draw Smoothing option?
It would be very helpful for annotation.

Did you feel any difference with the drawing in beta7? We tried to make it retain more details to be able to write.

Yes it helps for drawing, but when writing, the smooth gets in the way.
Need to write at a slower speed.
It would be nice if the draw tool had an option to adjust the smooth intensity, sometimes a totally smooth 0 is needed.
On the other hand, if drawing a long curved line that is very smooth, a higher smooth intensity would be needed.
