Being able to give a comment to a image is really useful, I would like to use it a lot more. One suggestion I would like to make is that it should also be placed in the 'show image coordinates' tooltip pop up as well.

This way it can be seen in context with other information such as the name, path, coordinates etc. The other benefit would be that it can also be copied to the clipboard easily by clicking on its icon 'copy to clipboard' beside it.

Currently its placed in its own popup panel, while this is useful for when you want to add/eddit a comment. its isolated into its own view and does not a have a convenient 'copy to clipboard' button.

Thanks!
Thank you for the suggestion! This feature is pretty fresh so any feedback is much appreciated. Currently you can view comments in the tooltip of the items in the hierarchy, does that help for your use case? It's not copyable though unfortunately. We'll note your suggestion to add it to the coordinate picker and think about it a bit since that dialog already has a bit too much info in it considering its initial intended purpose :)

I completely missed that, pretty neat! One thing I am concerned with is a quick method to copy the name, path or comment etc of the selected item to the clipboard.

Perhaps a command like 'Copy the selected items comment to the clipboard' that can then be bound to a hotkey?

Yes I can see what you mean. Perhaps consider appending ellipsis ("...") if the comment is longer then a line or two?

Just some ideas, I am sure what you decide to go with will be amazing.
