Related to this bug



Since Addition order has issues, it would be nice if cycling through a file in a more reliable way would be better




I see a few main options


1) File name : just cycle throught the names (numbered files should work too)

2) Selection: Select a bunch of images and choose pattern you want to see Reading order : Left -> Right , Up -> Down

This way the next image choosen is always to the right of the current one, and if there is none on the right , then go down.

Problem: what happens when you have 2 packs of images next to each other
Solution: Choose the images that are closest first. This way you can just move a pack a bit further away

3) Group : Provide a way to group a bunch of images together so they are virtually joined together (similar to selection but not necessary to select each time) Needs a way to add or remove images from groups too. Maybe also needs "select whole group" function

4)Randomize: just random


Notes:

1 and 2 seem the most pracital

2 is basicly like slideshow, but manually


EXTRA: as for Reading order : Left -> Right , Up -> Down , maybe this is something you could configure too? It will depend on how you organize your files.
