in windows you can take any window and drag it to the top to maximize, to the left or right to snap it to the left or right , or snap it to each corner of the screen to snap and resize the window to a 4th of the screen estate.

This would be handy for this program too, somehow it doesnt work right now.

Thank you for the suggestion! This is something we've tried to fix but unfortunately not been able to find a solution for. Windows is very picky about which mouse button is pressed while dragging the window and since we use right click it wont work.

Do you specifically need for it to work with dragging or would the Win+Arrow keys shortcuts work for you?
Shortcuts would work too
With the increasing adption of ultrawide monitors as well there are things like Fancy zones and it would be nice for Pure ref to be usable with all of these things I agree. Would it work to have a window bar that is minimized unlesss the cursor hovers over the top edge of the window for a few seconds that would allow you to interact with the canvas like a normal windows operation? That wouldn't change the existing setup, but add the ability to resize/position like normal when in that mode, and disappear when not desired to retain the "purity" of the simple window.

Just a thought/wish!
We've just released a beta of PureRef 2.0 that introduces a title bar that, by default, is shown on mouse over at the top of the window. When it is visible it can be used to move the PureRef window like a normal Windows window that works with aero snapping. This version also fixes support for aero snapping shortcuts. We haven't tried it with fancy zones yet but theoretically it should work with that too now. You can download it on the download page if you want to give it a go!
