I use PureRef as a visual-notebook (to make moodboards trying not to lose track of the source of the images).
To keep related notes with images requires a lot of micro, so it'll be useful to keep them linked so I can move them at the same time.
It can also be useful for managing larges amount of images.

Currently we have functionality to parent notes to images so that they are moved together with their parents. While an image is selected, creating a note will parent that note to the selected image. Is this what you're looking for or would you like it to work in another way?

Grouping images on the other hand is a much requested feature that we hope to implement for a future version of PureRef.
