PureRef could be even more convenient to navigate if there was a way to zoom in and out without requiring a mouse.
Mouse isn't needed to pan. So why not allow zooming as well?
Tablet users and screen tablet users (wacom cintiq, etc) often don't have a hand on their mouse while working, but in order to adjust zoom in a PureRef file, they must use their mouse scrollwheel just to zoom. Personally, I find this slightly annoying and disruptive. It might not seem like a big deal, but it's one of those little things that just erodes the user experience - needing to grab my mouse just to zoom in PureRef.
I suggest adding non-mouse button zooming in at least one way (preferably both):
1) Incremental Zoom - Add two new keyboard shortcuts to zoom the camera in set increments, and zoom the view towards or away from the current cursor position (Photoshop calls this "Zoom, exactly like we currently can with the mouse scrollwheel.
2) Scrubby Zoom (inspired directly by Photoshop ) - While holding a key, such as "z", zoom in or out by then left mouse clicking (which we can do with the stylus already in our hand) and dragging to the left or to the right. Left to zoom out, right to zoom in. This is how Photoshop's scrubby zoom works. Very fast, very smooth and convenient zooming NOT requiring a mouse.

Simply being able to zoom without needing to awkwardly clutch my mouse while trying to hold my stylus at the same time would be a big quality of life improvement for my experience using PureRef.
(Keep up the good work!)

UPDATE - scrubby zoom already exists in PureRef. I stupidly missed it somehow. It's even mapped to Z+LMB, just like Photoshop.

Honestly just disregard my spam post. This is more than enough for non-mouse users. Praise the sun.
Glad to hear you found it! We'll make a note to add actions for incremental zoom, could be useful if you only have a keyboard available.
Umbasa :)
Thanks to OP and obviously the PureRef team, this thread saved me from making a new suggestion. I have binded my zoom to Ctrl+Alt+LMB to match Photoshop's :)
