Topic: [Implemented] Distributed Alignment & Center Alignment
Add new image alignment options that will:
1) Space images evenly apart, based on their centers.
2) Align images, based on their centers.
This would entail adding four new options to the Right Click>Images>Align menu:
Distribute Horizontal
Distribute Vertical
Center Horizontal
Center Vertical
---
Photoshop provides distribute options when three or more layers are selected, and center options when 2 or more layers are selected.

Personally, I'm a bit of a neat freak but these alignment options are very common in other programs, and I was surprised to find that PUREREF doesn't include it.
I'm sure you fully understand distributed spacing, but let me explain what I mean. Here's a basic use case:
See this simplified example screenshot--> https://i.imgur.com/sZf0hWn.png
(I've added pink lines to represent each image's horizontal center.)
I want to evenly space these images apart, horizontally. Then line them up vertically. Without a distribution or center command I have to drag them around manually and eyeball it. In other programs I use, two clicks will get this done for me, and with pixel precision.

This would be the desired end result - after running Distribute Horizontal, then a Center Vertical command. All four images spaced and lined up, regardless of how different their dimensions are.

Thank you for the detailed suggestion! We'll see what we can do for a future version of PureRef.
The distribute commands are now available in 1.11.0 (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+Up/Down), we made it so that they also center the images, please let us know if that works for you!
Yeah ! Horizontal/Vertical distribution is great.
But it "loses" how pictures are sorted. Eg : if they're sorted by name (named as following YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS), it looks like the resulting distribution is a bit random and pictures are not displayed as alphabetically sorted.
That was not intended! We'll try to get that fixed for the next version of PureRef, thanks for letting us know :)
Hey! Any updates on this?
We've just released a beta of PureRef 2.0 that should have fixed this issue. You can download it on the download page if you want to give it a go!
