Hi there!
The idea is to be able to scale text box in a way that 'Free Transform' option in Photoshop does when Alt and Shift are pressed (the pivot point is in the center, but you can adjust height and width).
While scaling, text automatically fits the text box [Word Wrap].

This could be achieved in PureRef by selecting text box and pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Drag.

Feature like this would be very helful and save a ton of time.
Please consider implementing it.

While we're at text editing, there also could be a very simple option to open links in default browser.

Thank you and cheers :)

Agree — I was going to email in a suggestion for this feature as well, but decided to first check the forums to see if it was already mentioned.

Here's how I wrote it:
Ability to drag out text boxes and have text stay within box size when pasted, so that users can add long notes (paragraphs) without having to line-break manually.

Also like the live link suggestion — both would be incredibly helpful!
Thanks for the suggestions! Improving the notes is something we hope to be able to do for a future version of PureRef so we'll keep your suggestions in mind when we get to it!
I agree. I've been using Final Draft for text notes since it has these features in its Beat Board section. If they were in PureRef it'd be super amazing.

- Text wrapping
- Easy resizing (grabbing a side or a corner lets you resize in that direction)
- Each text box/beat has a Title section
- Right Click for Color Presets
- Hotkeys to bold, underline, italicize text

Some features I'd love to see implemented in PureRef myself include..

- Customizable Text Defaults/Presets (Text fonts, colors, background colors, box size)
- Automatic list continuation (if i type - then enter it'll automatically place a - on the new line--same with numbers, bullets, Tab indentations, etc)
- Toggle between how note boxes act now and fixed size with text wrapping
- Support for importing .doc, .txt, other text type files
Hi, thanks for the great software!)

I support the "word wrap" idea. I use Pureref for visual summaries, and have to save the source text to a notepad, split it, and wrap on new lines, only then copy to pureref. Much micro and makes it difficult to copy this text later for another use.
Hey there,

I add my support for these ideas. To have couple extra text editing features would be great.
@PurefAdmin
Has the word wrap and relative transform idea been implemented yet? I cant seem to resize the box with word wrap maybe its a combination of ctrl or alt clicks?

I am trying to put my feedback text next to the image so I can see the image and the feedback but the text box is horizontal and the guy giving feedback doesn't like to hit enter for some reason so it is thin making it hard to read.

Just adding my vote to this suggestion. I sometimes need detailed notes and descriptions for my PureRef projects and the current set of tools needs an upgrade. Just the basic word processor tools (alignment, spacing, etc.) would be such a time-saver.
