When I duplicate a note, for example copy paste, the new note becomes linked to the first one. The same if I create a note over a image. I can move freely the new note but moving the parent will move the new note.
That is fine but, is there any way to unlink them? Specially when duplicating notes makes little sense to have them linked.

The note will always be parented to the current selection, so if you want to unlink it then just copy the note and then deselect everything and paste. The note should then be completely free.
